Quality Assurance and Performance Division

 

 It is one of the important scientific branches concerned with sobriety, creativity and discrimination. It is also concerned with the following:
1) Work to find competency for the institute’s graduate.
2) Adopting international standards and specifications in the field of academic accreditation to ensure and improve the quality of education.
3) Adopting community participation in achieving excellence and creativity.



(Quality Assurance Division tasks)
1) Spreading a culture of quality among faculty members, students, and all employees by holding workshops to reinforce the concepts of academic accreditation in the institute’s departments.
2) Preparing reports on the implementation of institutional and program accreditation.
3) Monitoring developments in quality assurance and academic accreditation.
4) Documenting the institute’s institutional and program accreditation standards.
5) Urging faculty members to publish scientific research in journals with international rankings
6) Conducting visits by the Quality Assurance Division to scientific departments, divisions, and units, identifying weak points in the quality issue and urging them to address them.
7) Measuring opinion by conducting periodic questionnaires regarding the components of the educational process (academics, students, curriculums)

Tasks of the performance evaluation unit
1) Evaluating the performance in the institute’s departments and doing what is necessary to determine the level of performance and its quality.
2) Create a database for all activities of the institute’s departments and follow up on the development of the educational process therein.
3) Providing assistance, advice and advice to all departments in the field of programs to raise the level of performance in them.
4) Work to evaluate the electronic performance of all departments, divisions and units of the Institute and submit the necessary reports regarding it.
5) Preparing final reports on the annual performance of the Institute’s members.
6) Any other tasks assigned to the Division by the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department to support the performance evaluation process.

 

  Tasks of the laboratory accreditation unit
1) Monitoring and auditing laboratory specifications in accordance with the requirements of approved standard specifications.
2) Determine the technical specifications of devices and equipment, encode them, and document their data in coordination with laboratory officials.
3) Follow up on the implementation of calibration programs for devices and equipment with the relevant authorities.
4) Coordination with the University’s Laboratory Accreditation Department to open programmed courses to train laboratory workers according to specializations in accordance with international specifications and national standards.
5) Work to activate the procedures and requirements determined by the laboratory accreditation team in the field.
6) Coordinating with relevant authorities to hold specialized courses to train members of the Division on programs for auditors and quality examiners for laboratory accreditation.
7) Preparing a study for laboratories and scientific departments that reflects the reality of the existing situation, the required improvement, and addressing possible shortcomings

 Tasks of the Training and Technical Support Unit:
– Creating a database for all the Institute’s members and following up on all changes in staff movement, from (transfer – placement – leave – change of title – retirement – change of dgree- registration promotion..)
