Al-Rumaitha Technical Institute/Accounting Technologies Department organized a scientific trip to Al-Rumaitha Municipality Department, within the framework of the applied scientific activities that the Institute is keen to implement to enhance the practical aspect of students and link the school curricula to the field reality.
During the visit, the students were briefed on the nature of the work of the municipality department, where the specialized cadres provided a detailed explanation of the mechanisms of administrative and financial work in the municipality, including preparing budgets, following up on financial spending, and the role of accounting in implementing service and infrastructure projects.
The visit also included a field tour of the various municipal departments, where the students learned about the accounting systems used, in addition to the role of specialized employees in improving the financial and administrative performance of the departmen
Mrs. Assist. Lect. Zainab Shaker Jubeir, Accounting Technology Department official, said that these activities come within the department’s annual plan, which aims to provide students with realistic experiences that will help them develop their skills and enhance their understanding of accounting applications in the public sector.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Institute expressed its thanks and appreciation to the administration of Al-Rumaitha Municipality for the good reception and fruitful cooperation, wishing for continued cooperation between the two sides in a way that serves the educational process and contributes to developing the students’ skills
