The Women’s Empowerment Unit, in cooperation with the Continuous Education Center at Al-Rumaitha Technical Institute, organized an awareness workshop entitled “Methods of breast cancer prevention and early detection.”

Lecturing at the symposium was Ass. Lect. Zeinab Shaker, at Al-Rumaitha Technical Institute
She gave the symposium to the attendees with a detailed explanation of the risk factors and causes of the disease, methods of early detection, how to self-examination, the most important signs indicating the onset of the disease, and how to avoid it and limit its spread. To eliminate and trap it early to maintain public safety and health.

Breast cancer is one of the most dangerous diseases with a high prevalence in the world. Breast cancer represents one-third of all cancerous tumors in the world and is the second leading cause of death in cancer patients globally.

At the end of the workshop, an interactive dialogue took place between the attendees and the lecturer in order to answer all specific questions.
