Al-Rumaitha Technical Institute begins an afforestation campaign

Under the direct guidance of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the presidency of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the Institute, Prof.Dr. Qahtan Adnan Al-Fatlawi, and in support of the five million tree planting project launched by His Excellency the Prime Minister, the Institute embarked on an expanded agricultural campaign to plant various trees and seedlings, and the campaign witnessed Participation of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, department heads, faculty members, associates, and students at the institute.

The campaign aimed to increase green spaces and provide a suitable university environment for students and professors alike.

In the same context, Al-Fatlawi stressed the importance of these activities in enhancing the sense of responsibility, and that such campaigns contribute to improving the climate and enhancing environmental sustainability.
