As part of the training programs aimed at developing staff skills and fostering a culture of safety in the workplace, the Department of Electrical Techniques at Al-Rumaitha Technical Institute organized a training course titled “Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).” The session was conducted by Lecturer Mohammed Farhood Obeid and attended by several institute staff members.
The course covered key pillars regarding general safety principles in the workplace and strategies for managing potential hazards. Additionally, it highlighted the preventive measures necessary to mitigate accidents and injuries during the execution of various tasks.
During the session, the lecturer emphasized the importance of staff compliance with occupational safety guidelines and the necessity of promoting health awareness among both employees and students to ensure a secure and stable working environment.
These training initiatives align with the commitment of the Institute’s Deanship, represented by Professor Dr. Qahtan Adnan Abd Al-Fatlawi, to support activities that enhance staff competency and provide a professional environment that adheres to international quality and occupational safety standards.
